Where is the data stored?

A: All data is securely stored in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, using a state-of-the-art infrastructure design.

How can I modify the columns and their order on the index pages?

A: Being on an index page, two symbols appear on the right side when hovering over the page. The left button deactivates the line break within rows and the more compact view, which is the default one. By clicking the right button, a widget appears that lets you choose which columns to display and their order.

Legal entities

How can I import my legal entities?

A: With the Smart Data Import, you can import entities either by filling in the data in the provided downloadable template or by amending an existing Excel file with the mandatory columns and formats.

Is the structure chart exportable and printable?

A: The structure chart, including assets when required, can be exported in PNG, SVG, and PDF formats. By adapting the shape for different entity types, asset types, and contact groups, you can easily individualise your charts further by managing the appropriate options.

Do you have a notification system for compliance due dates?

Yes, Newton provides an overview for Compliance Tasks for the assigned Compliance Officer or Tax Compliance Officer, with a default value of 3 days in advance of the due date. This value can be edited to your needs in the Options section. Please visit here for more information .

How do I create a new document type?

A: New Document Types can be created by adding a new type to the Document Type group in the Options section. A step-by-step instruction and explanation of Document Type attributes can be found here .
